Are You Excited to See Jennifer Aniston in a Movie With Heidi Montag?
I wish Popsugar and other sites would fact check and report without bias, particularly where it concerns Aniston. She is in New York, not LA since she and Butler are doing promotional duties for The Bounty Hunter this weekend and into next week when the New York premiere happens. 10 Short Interviews With The World's Best Game Makers (And Three Other Guys) [Gdc]
Gabe Newell. John Carmack. The creators of Uncharted 2, Scribblenauts, Farmville. Even Penny Arcade. I interviewed a parade of award-winners backstage at the Game Developers Choice Awards. And I wanted to make sure these post-awards interviews were not dull.
We talked about everything from PlayStation Move and Farmville: The Movie to a major sequel that needs a name and Half-Life 2: Episode 3.
And, with each developer (or Penny Arcade person), we talked some Pokemon. Yes, I was consulting with some of gaming's top minds to prepare myself for a Pokemon challenge that I accepted from a peer of mine at MTV News.
Check out the short video interviews with each of these creators at the links below:

Congratulations to all of the people I interviewed for their Game Developers Choice and Independent Games Festival Awards. And, thank you. I couldn't have done these backstage interviews without you. Or, if I did, they would have been even more occasionally awkward and definitely less fun and (slightly) newsy.

THIS SUMMER’S HOTTEST MOVIE, ‘BABE, I LOVE YOU!’
SAM AND ANNE, BACK IN EACH OTHER’S ARMS ON THE BIG SCREEN!
For the first time on the big screen, SAM MILBY AND ANNE CURTIS come together for the hottest movie offering this summer, “Babe, I Love You,” under Star Cinema and Viva Films.
After successful television projects-- Maging Sino Ka Man and Dyosa, one of the most high-profile tandems on the small screen, Sam and Anne are excited to get the feel of seeing themselves together in the silver screen. “The last time we worked together for a project is Dyosa pa. More than a year ago na. Kaya we’re really excited to finally work together and see ourselves sa malaking screen,” Anne shared.
Sam agrees, “for the longest time, lagi kaming kinakausap ng fans na sana magkaroon din kami ng pelikula and sana naman matuwa ang mga supporters namin and ang moviegoing audience natin with this gift na dala ng Star Cinema and Viva Films for them.”

You see, flesh tones exist mostly in the orange range and when...
You see, flesh tones exist mostly in the orange range and when you look to the opposite end of the color wheel from that, where does one land? Why looky here, we have our old friend Mr. Teal. And anyone who has ever taken color theory 101 knows that if you take two complimentary colors and put them next to each other, they will “pop”, and sometimes even vibrate. So, since people (flesh-tones) exist in almost every frame of every movie ever made, what could be better than applying complimentary color theory to make people seem to “pop” from the background. I mean, people are really important, aren’t they? (via Into The Abyss: Teal and Orange - Hollywood, Please Stop the Madness

Did a Movie Ever Inspire You To Do Something Stupid?
Apparently, there's been a rash of salmonella cases in young girls, because they decided to borrow a page from The Princess and the Frog and lock lips with an amphibian. Only he didn't turn into a prince, he just made them violently ill for a few days. So, this begs the question, has a movie ever inspired you to do something stupid?

Live from SXSW: Tim League Talks International Genre Lunacy
If you're a hardcore movie geek and you've been to Austin at least once, you're probably familiar with the magical Tim League. Along with his wife/partner Karrie, Mr. League is the man behind not only the sublime Alamo Drafthouse movie theaters, but he also unleashed Fantastic Fest upon the world AND found time to create a karaoke bar/bowling alley called The Highball. Obviously Mr. League does none of these things by himself. But he does captain one hell of a movie shrine.
Anyway, the man loves nothing more than scouring the planet for the finest in lunatic cinema, and if he doesn't track it down, one of his many scouts probably will. Logically, with SXSW 2010 freshly underway, I thought it'd be fun to chat with Tim about his obsession with international genre fare, and the man certainly didn't disappoint. Let's get to it:
How many North America film festivals do you go to each year? And how many outside North America?
Tim: Other than Fantastic Fest, of course, I personally attend about four North American festivals a year and probably four more outside of North America. In addition, the Fantastic Fest scouting team generally hits another four or five international festivals beyond what I attend. My anchors are the European Film Market/Berlin Film Festival and the Cannes Film Festival. We go to those two every year.
What countries would you say hold the most respect (or reverence) for genre films? More specifically, which countries/festivals love horror flicks the most?
